Born in Hartford, Connecticut on March 28, 1957, Attorney Carignan received his Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) from the Boston College School of Management in 1979 and his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University School of Law in 1982. In October of 1982 he was admitted to the practice of law in Connecticut, in November of 1983 he was admitted to the practice of law in Florida, and in 1989 he was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Attorney Carignan’s areas of practice include residential and commercial real estate, business formation, estate planning and estate and trust administration, zoning, planning and other land use matters involving presentations before municipal boards and commissions on behalf of individuals and developers. Attorney Carignan is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association (Member, Estate and Probate and Elderly Law Sections) and the Florida Bar Association. Since 1994 Attorney Carignan has been a member of the Simsbury-Granby Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
