Research Editor, Catholic University Law Review, 1977-1978.Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on September 10, 1953, Attorney Knierim, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, received his Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from the College of the Holy Cross in 1975 and received his Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in 1978. For the 1977 to 1978 academic year Attorney Knierim was the Research Editor for the Catholic University Law Review. In December of 1978 he was admitted to the practice of law in the District of Columbia, in May of 1979 he was admitted to the practice of law in Maryland, in 1984 he was admitted to the practice of law in Connecticut, and in 1986 he was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Attorney Knierim’s areas of practice include residential real estate, estate planning and estate administration, civil litigation and criminal defense. Attorney Knierim is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association (Member, Committee on Professional Ethics, Member Criminal Justice Section) and the American Bar Association (Member, Litigation Section). In 2005 the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce recognized Attorney Knierim for his many years of service to the organization by designating him as a Director Emeritus.
